This week is absolutely just flying by! I think i’m pretty much riding the bus now. For a few reasons. My fare is getting low on my Go-To card. To I think $10. It takes so much longer to take the bus, and while I think it’s fun to take the bus, especially in the morning, I also really enjoy sleeping in, plus the ride home is much longer, and I get “bus sick”. Plus on my second bus in the morning, there is this overly friendly older man. Its fine to be friendly, but I have an inner feeling that tells me he’s odd. I will definitely take the train to the Mall of America, and to the Twins games though! (Especially Twins Games!).

Happy Tuesday
Tomorrow is my PT job meeting, and off day for running. My co-worker and I also did 25 flights of stairs today! I really really felt it in my calfs running and i have a feeling i’m going to wake up and hardly be able to walk tomorrow! That’s what I get tho for eating a bunch of crap. I’ve really been laying off the pop tho, and i think that’s helped a lot. I haven’t weighed myself on the Wii lately but I feel i’ve lost some tummy weight,so that’s terrific. That’s the goal.
Sigh…. 10 more days and we’ll be off for the cabin. I really really can’t wait! I need to get reading for my New thru 30 Assignment or I’m going to be up all night!!!!!
Pictures?
I seriously need to start posting some pictures soon! I’ve completely fallen off the bandwagon with picture taking, but will hop back on very quickly! We had a good Monday. I met up with my small group, and we went thru the first two chapters. I think everyone had a good time. I’m also working on this project, New thru 30, where i’m reading thru the new testament in 30 days! Its quite a challenge, but i’m making progress. Then I blog about my favorite verse/chapter etc on this one website with other people who are doing it, and we learn from eachother.
Great Weekend
We had such a great weekend. Friday evening I dropped Kirra off at Nana & Papa’s, and I went to Card Club (we make homemade cards) and Jason was playing poker. I got home and met his poker friends, and they are all very nice.
Yak Trax
I tried out my co-workers Yak Trax tonight and they’re great! I was able to easily run over the ice and snow without slipping at all! I was really very impressed. I’m definitely going to buy some this week! It does feel a little weird when I ran over bare road, but the majority of my roads are SO covered in ice and snow, it was really a non-issue. I ended up going just over two miles tonight. MAN my slacking off was really felt. I’ve got to keep on the horse tho. I’m planning on running every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturdays. No more stupid excuses! I should be able to pull of a minimum of two miles, even on the treadmill if its too cold out. (Below zero).

Swimming part two!
Trip Planning
Well we’re off to Jay’s to plan our Killwory Trip & Meals. We’ll also hang out in the hot tub I presume, and maybe play some games! Tomorrow I’m serving at church, and then hosting my mom’s birthday lunch at our house. It should be a great weekend!
County Market
Well, Jason and I tried out a new grocery store today. We always get coupons for this “Kings County Market”with ridiculous savings… so we went tonight, and it was a really nice store, and it had really great savings. We saved $40 with coupons!!!! My voice has barely come back. If I really want to talk I can. So hopefully after resting it tonight I can talk tomorrow.
Mommy is sick! :(
Well now i’m sick. I started feeling sick on New Years Eve, but now its gone from nasal congestion to full blown laryngitis. Tonight I can’t even talk at all. Today at work I could talk, but I was very hoarse. I guess people who know me (know that I love to talk) will get a little vacation from my voice! I went to the doctor, and he said it can be like this from anywhere between 5-14 days! So I’ll have to use post-its, and ghetto sign language tomorrow.
My little Dara Torres
Tonight we started Swim Class at Shoreview. The pool was really really warm which was good, because I was thinking it was going to be colder than it was. Kirra just squealed with delight! We worked on reaching out in the water, kicking a floating block, jumping off the edge on command (not before hand!) and getting used to the water. The last 10 minutes or so were playtime. Jason came with too, and that was a huge help. I think he enjoyed it also.
